Sitters photoshoots
Their first big milestone, sitting unaided! What a perfect moment to celebrate with a photoshoot.
The best time for these tends to be around 7 months old, once your baby can sit up all on their own but are not quite crawling away at the speed of light. This gives us the chance to capture their growing personality, the cheeky smiles and inquisitive stares, in beautifully simple photographs.
Sessions
are normally scheduled in for the morning at a time that fits around your baby's naps and tend to be over within an hour.
Although of course the session is led by the baby, so if we need to stop for a feed/change/cuddle then we do, as baby's safety and happiness is my top priority. A sitter photoshoot normally takes about one hour, so you will be free to carry on with your normal activities the rest of the day! Longer sessions can happen if the whole family wants to get involved, I mean who doesn't want a squishy baby cuddle photo? And it is the perfect time to update your family photo.
And Remember
just like you and me, all babies will tolerate new experiences differently. I have a lot of experience with little ones, this means that I am constantly watching how your baby reacts and will never force them into a pose or situation they are uncomfortable in.
I often start my sessions by holding and talking to your baby, to help them feel comfortable with me, before placing them in the photo area. We treat the whole session as playtime, with a selection of toys to help get good interaction and keep baby happy.
After the shoot
You will receive a full gallery of about 20 beautiful images to look through within 14 days of your session where you will choose which collection you would like to purchase and the possibility to place an order for frames or albums.
I know how life can get busy, so all of this can be done from the comfort of your own home.
A photoshoot costs £50 this is required at the time of booking to save your session date. It is entirely up to you which package you buy and you decide that only after you have seen your images. Packages start from £100 and go up to £450.
